The Oval (Third-Gen) Taurus earned its nickname from that distinctive rounded styling Ford introduced for 1996, and the builds here show just how far owners push these sedans — from a dark '98 with a custom grille to a pair of '99s rolling on aftermarket wheels. You'll spot a red '97 rocking a front-end bra, a black '99 parked on foggy waterfront gravel, and interior details like carbon fiber trim around the shifter, proving these oval-bodied Fords still get plenty of love.
The story
My current Mods are: Jet performance chip, K&N Filter, Daul Magnaflow straight through design mufflers w/ 4" chrome tips, Resonator cut off, and limo tint in back windows and 20% tint at the driver and front passenger windows. Recent mods are: New H-speed rated 225/60/15 tires, Blue headlights and running lights, 2 12" Jenson 525 watt subs with a 4 channel 400 watt pioneer amp pushing them,and a custom fabricated air box (i removed the air silencer and hacksawed the air box so the entire air filter is visable). — Scott Torres
