The story
This car was built in Dallas, sold new in Odessa, and lived most of its life in Texas. Last inspected in 1981. I bought it in 2002 and started the rebuild/restoration. Replaced the tired Y-Block with the FE Big Block. Replaced the Fordomatic with the Cruiseomatic. Changed the colors from Azure Blue & Colonial White to Sun Gold and Colonial White, reversing the color scheme in the process. Interior is gray & black. Original pattern to the seats, with a tuck and roll added to the cloth. Hope to finish it this year, but we'll see.... — Jack Markle
