1994 Ford Crown Victoria “Fat Car”
About the 1992–1997 Ford Crown Victoria
The 1992–1997 Box Panther Crown Victoria might look like a mild-mannered sedan from the outside, but these owner builds tell a different story — turbo setups, Vortech superchargers, ProCharger blowers, and Brembo brake upgrades hiding under those boxy hoods. From maroon sedans parked on front lawns to blue Crown Vics with their engine bays cracked open at meets, this generation hub captures how owners are pushing the Panther platform way beyond stock.
The story
Bought this P71 Interceptor from a local dealer who picked it up from a Miami Dare Unit trade-in(small town police mini-station had it) at a local Ford dealership.
The suspension was shot when I bought the car, and needed headlights, minor electrical work, etc...but for $2000 and the smooth engine, tranny, and perfect body, I do not think I lost out on the deal.
But, now since owning the car, I have put in over $1800 in upgrades and restoring the car! — jennifer ann
