About the 1960–1965 Ford Ranchero
The 1960–1965 Falcon Ranchero shows up here in every stage of life — from clean white '65s on custom wheels and red '65 convertible-style builds to a '64 body getting lifted out of a junkyard by forklift, plus project cars riding flatbeds waiting for their second chance. Dig into interiors with custom gauges and floor shifters, undercarriage details, engine bays with red-accented chassis work, and classic yellow coupe utilities sitting on the grass at weekend shows.
The story
Two tone: dark brown & tan. All body panels replaced with thin sheet metal (except tailgate and hood), '79 Mercury Bobcat grill, headlights, and front bumper. Chromed glove box door, chromed heater vent/speaker grille (in middle of dash), dual sport mirrors, 3" Sun Tach molded into middle of metal dash, '66 Mustang guages (140 mph speedo), Grant GT steering wheel, carpeted bed w/tonneau cover, converted to 5 lug w/steel wheels painted dark brown (painted to match one of the colors of the car), dual velour bucket seats w/dual armrests, and my most favorite item this car has: built in cooler in the bed!!! ;) — Rick Corder
