2002 Ford Crown Victoria “Iceberg”
About the 1998–2011 Ford Crown Victoria
The Aero Panther Crown Victoria community here runs deep — from blacked-out 2003 models sporting aftermarket hood scoops, push bars, and custom wheels to garage builds where mechanics are elbows-deep in the engine bay. You'll find everything from street-driven personal cars with red brake calipers and custom bumpers to retired interceptor-style setups complete with spotlights, all documented by the owners who built them.
The story
Bought this sweetie from my son-n-law's Chysler dealership w/ 42K miles, dent and scratch free, leather, XL package, and under wholesale. How could I resist? It was a 300-C trade-in. After I raved about it for 3 months he snapped up a clean '97 Grand Marq. trade in to use as the famialy "fishing trip" ride. Now he's got the Panther platform bug too and is refurbishing his mighty merc. My "toy" ride is a 1970 Maverick 2 dr. w/ C4 tranny and the amazeing "Thrifty Swifty" 250 CI in line 6 cyl. w/ ps. I've done the fuel system, tank to carb, compleat cooling system R&R, Duels w/ flowmasters and some cosmetics. A true "little 'ole lady" car, I got all the paperwork w/ it. The spare had never been out o' the trunk. Its "Brittiny Blue" and a fun driver. At $3 + a gallon my big block buddys are doin' way less crusin' then me. I'm currently rebuilding the suspention, then new paint an' she'll be done. Almost nobody born after 1980 has a clue what it is. Most think it's a rare Mustang and want to race me in their 200 HP Hondas. My "Vic" needs nothing but love, though a sunroof would be nice! — twocrows
