The story

Purchased with 109,000 on the clock after an engine rebuild due to a blown head gasket (previous owner's nephew had run it out of coolant). Apart from general maintenance, this car has been dead reliable and is great fun in the corners - although slower than modern BMWs and the like, the alacrity with which it slices through the curves on Mulholland Drive usually scares the hell out of other drivers. Memo to automakers: this is how you make a FWD vehicle handle correctly. Please copy as necessary. — casm
