The 1977–1979 LTD II Ranchero brought Ford's car-truck hybrid into its final chapter, and the builds here show everything from a black '77 tucked away in a garage to a green '79 parked outside a cabin and a sharp silver-and-maroon '79 sitting in a driveway. Owners are keeping these alive with aftermarket gauges set into woodgrain dashes, tow hitches on the back, and interiors still sporting that distinctive 'RANCHERO 500' badging with red upholstery.
The story
bought from original owner, he kept it in great condition, nearly compleatly original. Had to be put in the shop nearly as soon as I got her, but other than that not many problems. I got this truck cause it was always a joke between my friends to have a El Camino, but now that I actually have a Ranchero, I don't want anything else! — Rowin
