The Aero Birds (10th-Gen Thunderbird) brought smooth, wind-cheating lines to Ford's personal luxury coupe, and owners here are showing them off in every stage — from a blue '94 prepped for fresh paint to a red '92 sitting clean on the street to a green '90 rocking its dual side mirrors. Inside, builds range from factory instrument clusters to fully customized dashes with wood-grain trim, aftermarket gauges, and even manual transmission swaps in a '93.
The story
Car has run 12s without nitrous, with the front sway bar removed and on MT ET Streets, through the mufflers. Currently the way the car is set up, it is good for 20MPG on the highway, can hit the slalomcourses with the best of 'em, last time out on a road course was at Daytona Speedway a couple of years back, ran it in the AS class...spanked most of the field of Camaros, Firebirds, ect...waaaay too much fun for any street driven(occaisonally) car! — V8Thunder
