The 1977–1979 LTD II Ranchero brought Ford's car-truck hybrid into its final chapter, and the builds here show everything from a black '77 tucked away in a garage to a green '79 parked outside a cabin and a sharp silver-and-maroon '79 sitting in a driveway. Owners are keeping these alive with aftermarket gauges set into woodgrain dashes, tow hitches on the back, and interiors still sporting that distinctive 'RANCHERO 500' badging with red upholstery.
The story
bought it near san diago ca. i drove it to minnesota pulling a trailer with a1978 ranchero on it. its in good cond. the 78 was ok but i sold it to a buddy . new headliner ,tune up and new shocks, ibuffed up, but could use apaint job. was my daily driver untill winter came . — GOTITBAD2
