1979 Ford F-150 “Sheriff”
About the 1975–1979 Ford F-150
The 1975–1979 Dentside F-150 remains a favorite among owners who actually put their trucks to work — and these builds prove it, from a blue and silver '79 tackling rocky wooded trails to a '77 navigating dirt paths deep in the trees. You'll find detailed engine bay shots of V8 setups, front suspension teardowns on jack stands, and the inevitable battle against frame rust that every Dentside owner knows too well.
The story
bought it in hopes of making it my daily driver. 3 days after i bought it i had to rebuild the motor, it would take a lot of work to make it streetable, so now its my mud truck. Now its got 38" Swampers, 2" suspension lift. Its got white doors and rims, an old cop light bar on top, and sheriff stars on each door with DiggerZ in the middle, (my club name) — Aaron Binman
