Thanks for the pointers!

pirate4x4.com - I love it! Just bought a DVD Player (daughter moved-out with the one I bought with her!) and the first thing I had to watch was "Pirates of The Caribbean" - ARRR!

this is the board you will find a bunch of IH lover there. I go to pirate4x4.com and hang on the board there (lots of attitude)

take care.

I was just happy to see a few Scouts still running out there!

"binders" - only hard-core I-H lovers call 'em that! I am holding-out a few choice pieces for my office wall like the "All Wheel Drive" emblems and the glove box door with all those warnings about the traction-lok and locking hubs.

The hardest thing to take apart was the mechanical clutch linkage! It was so darned rigid that it held the entire body and frame together.. Just too bad that the body mounts were so rusty that the linkage was always binding-up!

Keep the binder going and take care - I will look into the "binder bulletin" - is it on-line or a paper publication? Thanks for the lead 0- just what I was looking for!!

I have been looking around the web for Scouts and found darned few!

I wore-out (read that "rusted-out"!) 2 Scouts plowing my driveway here in Western New York over the last 30 years! Just cleaned-up the left-overs of the last one, a 1970 800A that had all the fancy stuff on it (chrome wheels, roof-rack, upholstered door panels, etc.). I have a few pieces if you know anybody that can use them - the price will be "right"!

B/W T-18A 4 speed with hi/lo Xfer case
dana 44 3.73:1 posi rear
dana 3.73:1 open front axle w/ I/H lock-outs
Monarch plow frame with I-H aux. (plow) lights
Grill and headlamp bezels (decent shape - grille cut-out for plow rig)
roof rack (pot metal needs repair, stainless strips good condition)
4 original I-H 15X7 chrome wheels (3 OK, 1 needs replate)
1 side slider window for long top

Nothing much beat these things for plowing snow but the sheet metal just gave-up on them!
