The 1992–1997 Aero Panther Grand Marquis brought smoother lines to Mercury's full-size flagship, and the builds here show everything from cream-colored '96 models with their distinctive chrome taillights and wood-trimmed interiors glowing green at night, to V8 engine bay shots and fresh paint booth respray work. You'll also spot these big sedans lined up on fields alongside their Panther platform siblings, proving the Grand Marquis community is still going strong.
The story
Purchased used for my oldest son's sixteenth birthday in 2002. Given to his younger brother for his sixteenth birthday in 2007 with the addition of Craigar S/S Super Sport wheels, the only upgrade. Still running fine. — Ornery
