The story
My Grandfather rolled it off the lot when I was 4, threw a pop-up camper on it, and over the course of my childhood we went through 25+ states in it. On my 21st Birthday he signed it over to me, with 55,000 on the clock. About a month ago I moved from Phoenix to Missouri with over a ton in the bed, so I had to throw some helper springs on it. I only put the helpers on because when my flowmaster was mounted it wasn't at an angle so it rubbed my driveshaft. Even with all that stuff in my bed, I still managed to pull 13-15 MPG average on the trip.
I also have a small system in it (single cab=no room), I have an eXcalon KDC-X991 with Alpine Type-R components (tweeters mountedat the top of the A-Pillars) that are powered off the deck. They actually sound great, considering it's deck power. I do have a 8 AWG wire run straight to the battery for power, so that helped. I also have Kicker CVR-10 in a box I built to fit behind the seat, about 1.2 cubic feet. The sub is power by a Pioneer 400w RMS (800 Max) amp, like I said, it's not much, but it's more than enogh for the little cab. — Booba5185
