The story

In the summer of 2006, I went to Nags Head, NC and saw 2 lifted 79 Broncos. Both had been referbished and renovated and were looking good. I had previously owned a '79 F150 and drove it for 20 years and sold it like a fool. After I saw those Broncos, I knew what I wanted. I searched on the internet, trying to find one close by and actually wasn't having much luck. Finally, I looked on the local web server and looked under the classified ads and there it was, not 10 miles away.
Four years later, mine is finally in the shop getting the make over it desprerately needs. Qts. doors, fenders, hood, bumpers, grill, etc.

I was toying with the idea of changing the paint, but after a lot of thought, I think this ugly truck has a lot of character and I'm going with the original paint.
I think I would like to lift it about 3". that really adds to the "look".
Any pictures here are all before pictures. I'll try to add as we go along on the restoration. — dmcrowder
