The Oval (Third-Gen) Taurus earned its nickname from that distinctive rounded styling Ford introduced for 1996, and the builds here show just how far owners push these sedans — from a dark '98 with a custom grille to a pair of '99s rolling on aftermarket wheels. You'll spot a red '97 rocking a front-end bra, a black '99 parked on foggy waterfront gravel, and interior details like carbon fiber trim around the shifter, proving these oval-bodied Fords still get plenty of love.
The story
Getting ideas for power and performance upgrades (header back exhaust system, suspension, poss conversion to 4 wheel disc brakes w/larger rotors and 6 calipers, poss supercharger system [if avail], etc.) So, if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em. In the near future, looking to buy/build supercharged crown vic (scott alder or kenny brown type), so any ideas there would be appreciated as well. — Christopher Dickenson
