The story

This '63 Galaxie was bought (sight unseen) by Cliff Harmon, Northridge, CA from a Ebay seller in GA who claimed the car was a "barn find" from North Carolina, where it had been sitting on a dirt floor for several years. All the floors from the front to the rear of car were eaten up with rust along with 1/4's etc.....many parts missing, broken, etc......
I was contacted to have a "driver condition" restoration done to the car for about $35K to $40K but I terminated the project before it actually got started due to a shortage of working money and a demand from Harmon to change the original terms.
Harmon had used 1/3 of the original deposit money to pay for transportation costs of a '67 7 Litre convertible and a 2nd '63 R code hull that he had shipped to my place plus buying a 406 short block assembly that he also had shipped to me.
When Harmon did not replenish nor add to the spent monies, the '63 had to sit for weeks while we waited on him to get his "financial house in order".
I decided that this was not going to be a path that I wanted to go down and I instructed Harmon to get all his cars and parts off my premises within 2 weeks.
The '63 was taken to another shop (??) 2/26/08 and the rest of his cars were moved on 2/27/08 along with a 406 short block and all the misc parts that belonged to Harmon. — Rick Toombs
