The story
I originally purchased it from www.copcarsonline.com when they kindly agreed to a lengthy search to find an extremely rare, low miles fully-optioned 2004 police interceptor.
After more than a year of modifications, what's it like to drive now?
* Around town, it's docile and perfectly streetable. It looks 100% stock and only reveals it's nature with a subtle supercharger whistle.
* Give it partial throttle and when it quickly hits 3000rpm, it transforms into a rocket-sled launching toward the horizon faster than you thought possible for a car this large and comfortable.
* Floor it and the wild banshee scream combined with insane tire-ripping acceleration will leave you absolutely stunned as it blasts to the redline in each and every gear. — dhwright
