The story
I bought this car in 1995 from a sweet elderly gentleman named Ralph Warriner who treated it as a prized possession. It had been garaged the whole time, dusted off EVERY day, and only had 78,000 miles on it. He was the sweetest man and has since passed away, but he used to stop by my mom's house during walks with his caretaker and would always ask if I was enjoying the car and wanted to make sure it wasn't giving me any problems. One of my cops told me that it was the "top of the line" Toyota for that year, and possibly the first one with automatic controls, etc. Mr. Warriner even had a plaque with his name inscribed on it for the front of the glovebox...I left it there and everytime I look at it I smile ;-) People constantly make fun of my car b/c I haven't kept it in the best shape, but I love this car with all of my heart and hope someday a show like Overhaulin or Pimp My Ride might take pity on me and restore it to look brand new. — LOOKING4LULU
